IRIS Nights Lecture Series Did you know that you can hear some of our best and brightest photographers speak for FREE? On Thursday nights the Annenberg Space for Photography offers a free lecture series that generally runs from 6:30-8:30. Robert Frank's The Americans MOCA Grand Avenue is showing the entire set of images from this landmark book (the original road trip) by Robert Frank which chronicles his travels through 1950's America. This museum has very easy access through public transit metro and on Thursday nights after 5pm the museum is free. MOCA Grand Avenue 250 South Grand Avenue L. A.
Irving Penn: Small Trades, Sept 9th - Juanuary 10th In Focus: The Worker, November 3-March 21st Getty Museum The Getty will have multiple chances to see photography starting with Irving Penn's Portraiture exhibition in September. Charting the Canyon: Photographs by Mark Klett & Byron Wolfe, September 25th-January 3rd Dreamers: Portraiture, September 25th-January 3rd The Autry National Center, which is located in Griffith Park, across from the LA Zoo, will be featuring multiple photo exhibitions starting in late September.
